Kensington Insurance Agency appreciates the trust you place in us. You can be assured that your private records and those of your family members are safe with our office. 

 

Our company has a longstanding policy that maintains the confidentiality of the personal data we obtain to provide services.  

 

This summary of our practices is provided for your information. 

 

You do not need to take action as a result of this notice, but you do have certain rights as described below.

Collecting information.  To conduct our business, we may collect nonpublic personal information about you from:

  • applications or other forms, such as name, address, Social Security number, assets and income, employment status and dependent information;

  • your transactions with us and the companies we represent

  • consumer reporting agencies, such as a credit score to aid in the placement of coverage

  • other individuals, business and agencies, such as property and casualty claims history

  • visitors to our websites, such as information from on-line forms, site visitor ship data and on-line information collecting devices commonly called “cookies”

 

 

How we treat the information: 

 

Within Kensington Insurance Agency we restrict access to nonpublic information about you to those employees who need to know information to provide our services or otherwise conduct our business.  We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards for all your nonpublic information.  We may disclose all of the information described to third parties with which we are contracted.  Examples of third parties are:

  • financial service providers, insurance companies, premium finance companies, third party administrators, broker-dealers, insurance agents and brokers, investment companies, registered representatives, investment advisors, companies that perform marketing services on our behalf

  • non-financial companies and individuals, such as consultants and vendors

 

 

The financial service providers listed above are subject to the same privacy laws that govern us; they may have privacy obligations to you, which are independent of ours.

In addition, we may disclose your nonpublic information to insurance regulatory authorities, law enforcement or other government authorities, or to affiliated or nonaffiliated third parties as reasonably necessary to conduct our business or as otherwise permitted by law.

We retain the right to use ideas, concepts, know-how, or techniques contained in any nonpublic personal information you provide to us for our own purposes, including developing and marketing products and services.

Even if your relationship with us ends, the company is pledged to maintain its privacy policy and practices so that your privacy will be protected.

We do not disclose your nonpublic personal information to third parties except as necessary to provide you our services. 

 

You do have the right to review the personal information about you obtained by our office. 

 

You can also request that we correct, amend or delete any inaccurate information.
