License Plate Sticker Renewals

In September 2015, the Secretary of State Jesse White decided to no longer mail vehicle-registration reminders. In November, 19% fewer vehicles paid for their renewal. This is most likely because drivers did not receive the mailed reminder.

To register, you need to find your registration card from last year or call 800-252-8980 to obtain your Registration ID and PIN and go to Cyber Drive (https://www.ilsos.gov/greenmail/) to pay for your renewal online.
